How Great Is God?

No matter what problems you are facing right now, God is greater. If you are looking for solutions, God has the answers. I know what its like to face overwhelming circumstances, but I also know God can handle all of them. Would you like to know how great God can be in your life?

You can find out through His Word. In Psalm 95:3 it says, “For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods”. (NKJV) You will also discover in Psalm 96:4, “For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all other gods”. (NKJV)

Since God cannot lie, He is telling you the truth about Himself. One thing I do not like is when someone lies to me. This is one of the biggest reasons I like God so much. He is always honest with me. He tells me the truth. He doesn’t lie to me. How many people do you know that can do that? Are you beginning to see how great He can be in your life?

What if God only thought wonderful things about you? How would that make you feel? In Psalm 139:17 God reveals how He thinks about you, “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them”. His thoughts towards you are so precious. Many times I’ll ask about what His thoughts are at that moment. Guess what I hear? Love.

God’s greatest thoughts He has about you and me are about how much He loves us. You need to know this truth in order for you to truly know that God will take of all of your problems when you hand them over to Him. It really comes down to how much of God do you want to experience in your life each day.

There are some days where I sense His presence. Other days it seems like He is so far away. The truth is, God said He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is with us ALL the time, whether we are aware of Him or not. Once we know this, then we can turn to Him at anytime and ask Him for help in time of need.

When I was growing up in North Dakota, I really didn’t like school that much. One class I took that didn’t make much sense to me was math. I would ask, “How is this going to help us later on in life”? For example, < and > problems seemed useless to me. Now I can see how this does apply to our lives right now.

God is > any problem. He is GREATER than all your problems. He has the answer to your questions. He IS the answer you have been looking for all these years. Whatever circumstance you are standing in, you can go to Him right now and ask for help. His power is mightier than any sickness, disease, lack, sadness, depression or loss you can ever experience.

If you truly want to KNOW how Great God is, then why don’t you ask Him today to show you how awesome He is and the solutions to your problems? Don’t you think the Creator of Heaven and Earth can handle your problems?
